I have 1980s hat stamped Fort Worth stockman 10x my research tells me this is a resistol oem made for Texas stores 80s it is not branded resistol but has the patented self-conforming sweat band, it had a factory brick crease, and I hand steamed into an open crown. Does it have any value

I agree it is not a 1950s royal Stetson which I have also. It is about the quality of the Beaver/Rabbit blend from Resistol in the 1980s and I am no hat expert, but does that not give value.

The 10X From my understanding in 1980s meant quality beaver/rabbit blend you are correct I will fix that distinction.
