Hi folks, could anyone chime in with thoughts on the fit of this jacket? I snagged the last one from The Armoury, it's a 38 and I'm 5'8" 145lbs.
I have had a ton of trouble with the fit of every other jacket I've tried on... hoping this one is pretty close.

Looks like a great fit to me, congrats.

The pic of the back, was it taken with the jacket unzipped?

I do have a question for the OP. When asking for visual comment on fit, there’s probably limited input we can give because we wouldn’t know how it feels on you. This came to mind because you said you had problems with “fit” with other jackets, May I ask if those poor fit was judged by visual assessment or how you felt in them? Also do you have an inner benchmark of what you think would be the good (visual) fit? Like say what do you think of this jacket as seen in these photos?

You beat me to it, @regius. Five-eight and 145 lbs is a great height/weight ratio for leather jackets. Basically, depending on a cut/era, you can wear a 38 or a 40 with success.

Looks great to me.
Many of these amazing vintage jackets seemed to be aimed at that size when men were slim and fit from No fast food and hard work.
