I don’t see women wearing hats like they
did in the past.

The only place I’ve seen them recently is in Kentucky!

Hats look about the same but for some reason, I have a different reaction seeing them on these ladies here!

I saw her back in ‘63.

It was in a motorcade in San Antonio and although it was brief,
I recall how lovely she looked in person, more so than the photos.
Back then we only had a small black & white TV with only three
stations & no remote.
Was surprised to see that the president’s hair was a lighter brown
in person.

He was not wearing a hat.

Seen this before, I like the barrel front crown with no pinches. The pair of jeweled boots like the one on the table are featured somewhere too. Can't remember if they are from the El Rey line or not.

I've always wondered about that claim. The El Rey line was an "upgrade" production line of boots for several yrs. And as I recall they have used the name a couple of different times but not for several yrs now.
