I certainly clutch my satchel close to me when I'm taking the train at rush hour.

Yes, they do look funny - but this is a common look on the train I catch - the fashionable, slightly silly looking slim fit too short pants and jacket with slim fit too short sleeves. Still it could be worse.
In relation to bags - I carry a range of them depending on weather and what I'm up to. I can't believe anyone would ever have a problem with men carrying bags. I hate carrying things in pockets unless I have to.
I also have an old Pan Am flight bag which I wear when I go 'vintage' and wear my leather or denim jackets. I replaced the strap with a longer one and it is great for carrying my camera. It has a print of a Boeing 707 'Jet Clipper' so I'm guessing it is from the late 50s / early 60s period.

It’s much lighter, a bit smaller and has more ‘useful’ features than the real thing but retains the good design looks of the original.

Here are a few pics to show detail and compare it to the real thingIs this the slim mail bag version ? Is the quality of the leather still good 2019 ? Someone mentioned they changed leather quality ? The look is fantastic. No luck getting a copy made in Mexico.
