This Borsalino has been listed on ebay with seemingly little interest. Is the asking price too high for this example? How old a hat is it? Just asking because it seems like a nice hat!

Some are Backbowphobic. Its a very nice hat likely of the mid-late 50's. I second Vic's remark.

Back bow seemed popular in men's hats in the 30's and 50's on both sides of the water. Personally, I've not seen many Borsos with back bows. That appears to be a 50's style to me. I would wear it!

Permission to join the "Borsalino Brotherhood." I purchased a beautiful 50's Model today from Bond in the classified section. It's a taupe Open Road style in the rare 7 1/2 size! Took over a year but I did not settle for one I was not completely happy with.

No, I really like the original look and I would never have used it. I have a nice JC Penney Marathon that I got from Tom on here with a bigger ribbon when I get the urge for that look.

I posted a couple of Bond's pictures of the hat so you guys could see it. I'll post a couple of different pictures when I receive it. I think it will the perfect "cigar" hat!
