Someone with a small head is about to get lucky. These hats were all purchased during another time, when I was buying many hats too small for me and operating under the delusion that I could stretch them to fit. Many years later, I need to accept reality and pass these to someone who will actually be able to wear them as intended.

#1. This hat started life as a Jaxon Iconoclast, purchased new from the Village Hat Shop in the early 2000's. At some point I sent it to our member Jimmy Pierce Designs and he completely restyled the hat. It now has a 2.5" brim and many other exciting touches. Perfect condition. Fits like a straight 7. Gorgeous felt on this one guys, have to touch it to believe. $125
#2. This is a vintage Worth/JC Penney special. This was one of my favorite hats for years. Lightweight and soft, pliable felt. This is supposed to be a 7 1/8 but seems to fit and measure a bit smaller. Good condition but the sweatband is a bit crusty and fragile on this one. $65
#3. An Akubra Squatter, this was purchased new from Australia in the 2000's. This hat was worn hard for many years riding horses and ranching, but shows almost nothing for it, in true testament to Akubra. Just some dust. Very soft felt. This is a size 57 and should be true to size. Beautiful and tough hat.
#4. Another vintage JC Penney special, this one is by Marathon. Lightweight and supple felt. Very good overall condition on this one, including a soft sweatband. Only point worth mentioning is that there is a small spot of thinning wear at the top of the pinch (I have not reshaped this hat from the original owner). Never noticeable. I believe this is a 6 7/8. $75
#5. This is a mystery hat I've held on to for many years, made by Desina(?). This one fits more like a 7 or 7 1/8. Wool felt, paper sweatband, modern manufacture. Nothing special, but was intrigued by the period correctness. $35
#6. Pride and joy here...original 50's Stetson in an original box. This one is clearly tagged as a 6 3/4. Beautiful felt, immaculately preserved since the 50's. Brand new. Curiously, a label on the box says "Borsalino" and the original buyer's name, Howard Eames. $150
