Long long trend just my opinion
Honestly, I don’t think it’s a bad idea at all! Cowboy boots can look surprisingly good with khakis and a collared shirt, especially if you choose a classic, understated pair rather than something too flashy. You might find they fit your style better than you expect. My advice? Try them on before ruling them out. The Fedora Lounge might just encourage you to buy them instead of talking you out of it!

Some friends flew over from Germany to visit my family in the US. The mom of that family made an observation about something wherever we went and at one point said she was surprised she hadn't seen anyone wearing cowboy boots. I told her I have a couple pair of them and that one pair was orange goat skin; "I'll wear them for you tomorrow".

I did... and she was visibly excited about that. I'd not thought of it before but apparently they're pretty rare in northern Europe and super rare in Bremen. One more thing about the Americas that she giggled like a little girl about. In the spirit of the west we went to a Mexican restaurant and I ordered a bowl of chiles toreados to go along w/ lunch. The friend was somewhere around late 40's, maybe 50 and said she'd never seen anything like them and said she absolutely loved spicy food. Apparently her spice scale did not go all the way to cowboy . Not even close. Milk was barely cutting it.

That day was balanced. On one side she loved cowboy boots and on the other side of she hated what some of them ate.

These not so pointy ones are truthfully the ones I wear the most. Some of the stuff I deal with at work isn't so friendly to a pair of nice boots. These are Red Wing Pecos. I've had Justins and Ariats at various times in the past, too. They both are more comfortable right out of the box, but they dont hold up near as well for the money.
