I'm aways forgetting stuff too.
They sound like they will be very pretty.
I'd like to make a pair out of wool gabardine eventually, as well.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Do you think they altered the original from having a waist band to not? I just don't think skirts or trousers look vintage with out one.

I just got a nice cotton lawn skirt in the mail from Land's End. I was disapointed that it didn't have a waist band either. So I guess I will return the skirt.![]()

Snookie said:That buckle/gathering in the back looks scary to me. Not very flattering, and likely to come loose -- probably when company's over and you're serving cookies!
I'd eliminate it the extra fabric and do a side opening instead.
