Old New Home

Here is my vintage home. It is literally older then dirt! Some day I hope to build on it. Would love to build a new Victorian. Would be really cool to have the newest house on the block, but when people drove up, they would think it was the oldest!

On that note, I've been considering building a large shed for cars, with a small living quarters. Then, when financially ready, building a house, in the future.

I have two old teens motorcycle engines in my living room, and one old one in a spare bedroom, plus my 35 Harley VLD in my office! Maybe, I should buy a Bugeye Sprite for the living room.

Sorry about the snide reply, but I could not resist. Yes, it is a carriage house, or coach house depending on where you live. Right now, I am trying to subdivide the lot so I can sell off the bottom part. So, I can dream all I want to, since nothing is carved in stone. Actually, I welcome any ones input on their dream house. Photos are most appreciated. Who knows, maybe I will build one of your designees?

No need to apologize. I've entertained similar thoughts in the past - usually involving brick warehouses or service-station like buildings. As you indicated - every gearhead's dream!

When I get to a full-fledged computer, I'll try to share some of my imaginings.

If I were single and childless, I'd give it a shot. I like Detroit as a whole, but I can't say how good or bad any of the neighborhoods are.
