There’s a thread on Hawaiian shirts worn with fedoras, but I don’t see a thread on cool shirts (not white tshirts) you wear with your leather jackets. Even the VLJ folks have a thread on cool shirts they wear with their flight jackets, so let me see your taste/style, and your closet. They could be your dream shirts that you don’t own yet.

I’ll start. I love Gitman Vintage, and sometimes they knock it out of the park with the pattern and color combo. My grail shirt in my closet.

You might have seen me in my Gitman blue-university stripe Oxford, which I have several copies of, and in different colors, too.

Still waiting for this flannel to show up in my size. There’s a S one on eBay for about $50 that I keep drooling over.

With denim, temperatures allowing, I like a nice, long-sleeve flannel or chambry with a camp collar. No photos to hand, but have examples of these from Revival Vintage and Cathcart London. Otherwise, if I'm actually going out and thus making an effort, a decent white dress-shirt and tie is always good:

I wear Wrangler Comfort Flex shirts. I have a bunch in a range of plain solid colours. Black, white, olive, navy, dark orange, etc. They cost next to nothing and fit me really well.

I've always hated patterned shirts of any kind and only ever really wore checked flannel shirts when I was a student and grunge was just kicking off 35 years ago.

Almost always graphic tees but I want to start wearing button downs…much cleaner look in my opinion. Now….to buy more shirts….
