OK, I'm going to drive you crazy with another skinny tie.
I thought this one was interesting because even though it's 60's -ish and even polyester, it's stitching and construction are similar to a much older tie.

I'm not usually too keen on regimental silk ties, but I think this one has a sufficiently distinctive pattern:

A cheap 1950s trevira tie. I know most people don't like these because man made fabrics aren't vintage enough, but I like the colours (and it was 50p):

Another 50p charity shop tie. When I first saw it I ignored it thinking that the bright shiny fabric was a cheap modern tie. Then I looked closer, saw it's construction method and short length, and realised it was an old silk tie in good condition:

Another 50p tie from the same shop. Everyone needs a few old polka-dot ties:

And finally a 1950s Tootal:

Construction and designs all point towards 30s or early 40s neckties not 50s

Some nice finds there TT,the blue silk is especially nice, I actually like the early 'Trevira'(I think I may have the same tie) et al stuff they had some nice patterns you just need care in cleaning and especially ironing....then again silk's not exactly easy care!

Maybe we need an early man made material tie thread???
