Junk jackpot this morning.
I'd say so!
Junk jackpot this morning.
That should be displayed with your thrift store cowboy boots.Seemed weirdly appropriate for the woodshop.

Nice haul! That pbn is a good one!A large , early 1960s paint-by-number and a mid-1970s Wrangler shearling denim vest. $2.00 each.
And another Dazor “Floating Fixture” desk lamp like the one above.
The fishing pole of my childhood. Many hours spent sitting on the creek bank catching little bullheads and bluegill. Also picked up an ancient 3 pc 12 foot bamboo pole for crappie jigging...just in case it ever cools off enough here for such activities.
A cane pole from the bank or pier still makes for an enjoyable afternoon, especially if there's cold beer and good company. The fishing pole of my childhood. Many hours spent sitting on the creek bank catching little bullheads and bluegill.

That's a really nice addition to the collection!
Went to a tool auction this morning and got some heavy duty shelving and a pile of pegboard. This was the only vintage thing I picked up. 1950s Sears 6” planer for $70.
On the way back we stopped at a thrift. I’m a sucker for denim and pearl snaps. Oh...and hat boxes with the innards intact. All for $10.
Then we stopped at a garage sale and picked up a vintage Stelber exterior light fixture for $3.
Really nice. Like the old CB also. Based on the radio next to it I would guess you are a HAM.View attachment 188306 a set of late forties or early fifties window cornices. these are quite scarce very few have survived intact certainly not in sets.
View attachment 188307 A stromberg-carlson 50 line magneto telephone switchboard. This is exceptionally late for a local battery and switch. it's one of a couple hundred which were made for the Navy department during World War II. It's exceptionally complete and is in fact in working order. I'll eventually be setting it up with many of the magneto telephones that I've collected over the years.
This morning's haul
Nice haul, Bob. Good luck getting it all unloaded....especially if you're flying solo like I was. Fortunately the little Nissan is close to the ground,,so its not too much of a struggle to unload.Good gets Dale! We have a similar water cooler that my wife’s Grandpa used at his construction sites. Painted that iconic industrial light green from the 1950s.
Hope you had help loading/unloading the heavy stuff. I’m going to have to call my neighbor to get this stuff (from an online auction in Topeka) unloaded. The DeWalt saw was a struggle, the Delta jointer not too bad, but that 1950s Belsaw wood planer is heavy!
