I just received one these used, and found that the internet doesn't have much information on the model. It is no longer offered, so the Schott website doesn't recognise the model number. Picture below from the seller. My pictures still to come.

The only real discussion on TFL I could find is here - Fit question on schott p631 buffalo leather jacket This thread is the only place I have seen it referred to as 'Crosby'.

I thought I'd add some details for reference. The P631 was described in a few places as Buffalo hide, however mine is tagged 100% Cowhide on the inside label. Seems thick, heavy, and a bit spongey leather. Mine hasn't been worn much yet, still to be broken in and sleeve creases not yet significant. Collar is 100% USA sheepskin fleece, fixed not detachable.
Size S measurements: P2P - 53.3 21", Sleeve - 64 25.2", Shoulder - 45 17.7", Length 73.5 29", Hem 50 19.7", Weight 2.33kg 5.14 lb

The styling was described as '40's. Not sure what years these were offered but mine was bought by first owner in 2019. I assumed that it was a recent design, then I found this - https://buyee.jp/mercari/item/m98238577168

Very similar overall styling to the modern one, with minor detail differences eg button on cuffs and rear panel, sheepskin lining inside vs quilted poly insulation. So this Schott design dates back at least to the 1960's.

If anyone has any more information or questions on this model please let's discuss.
