Role Club Engineer boots - Heel slip

I recently got a pair of role club engineers. It seems to fit pretty well on my right foot with minimal heel slip but the left foot has noticeable heel slip and my heel is definitely rubbing against the heel counter when i walk. I already put two thin leather insoles on the inside so im not sure if the fit will become more secure over time or if it will become worse.

It's odd because both of my feet measure the same and the boots definitely appear to be the same length.

Any advice is appreciated

If you were fitted by Brian directly, I would encourage you to reach out to him directly to address this issue.
These are expensive and one-of-a-kind boots made for your feet - he should help you with this I would think.

Also note that some degree of heel slip in Engineer boots is hard to avoid, since there are no laces to snug-it up.

I didn't get fitted by Brian directly. I just sent him my measurements of both feet and he told me he has a pair in my size so I bought that pair directly from him.

Im assuming with wear, toe spring will increase, vamp and toebox will collapse and the heel slip should reduce as a result?

I cant speak directly for the boots you have, but slipons almost always start with some heel slip and they get better as the leather relaxes. When theyre new the soles are as stiff as theyre ever going to be and as the leather breaks your foot doesnt have to pull so hard to get the sole (and every other part of the boot) to bend.
