Don't know if this has been posted before.
That RP wool is a excellent example of RP working outside of leather. As the label says; Leather and Cloth Sportswear. Somewhere around my house I have a pair of RP work pants.AHP91 posted this jacket in Finds and Deals. It seems to be a very common design. This Top Notch is kind of rare since most I have seen are by King-O-Wear View attachment 539389 View attachment 539391 View attachment 539392 King-O-Wear made these until I think the 60s. You can find later KOW with Coats and Clark zipper but this one is an early sample with 40s Talon zipper.

I wonder where all the patterns are. That RP wool is a excellent example of RP working outside of leather. As the label says; Leather and Cloth Sportswear. Somewhere around my house I have a pair of RP work pants.
The oldest ads of RP are for clothing; leather, rubber, cloth, hunting and outdoor wear. These ads go back to the 1920s and feature the use of rubber products for wet weather use.
Short timeline:
1918 Ralphs-Pugh incorporated
1920 Ralphs-Pugh selling Rubber clothing.
In 1929 the conveyor belt is mentioned.
1920s-1940s Various Ads for leather and cloth outerwear in Western papers.
1954 Last ad found for RP clothing.
Clothing was not a sideline for the company it was significant part of the company from day one. Leather was one material they worked with.
I would guess destroyed, like the memory of the clothing production. There would have been paper goods; catalogs, contracts etc. I would guess all gone.I wonder where all the patterns are.
