Fawn Campdraft arrived today:

...the fit is looser than my other 59's (I followed the sizing advice on the Hatsdirect site... a strip of foam tape fixed it right up).


the ribbon was wrinkled a little but no big deal.

I've got a silverbelly one that shiped today so I should have it next week and my SunBody is due tomorrow...think I'm fixed for hats for a while.

Both mine were lose but now fit perfectly!
You keep telling yourself that TWilson! I'm trying that therapy too. Campdraft looks awesome, nice crease. I have noticed my ribbons have varying lengths. My glen grey is longer that my silver belly. I'm probably going to adjust the glen grey to match, especially the front leg. Awaiting a mid-brown, interest to see it's ribbon lengths. [huh]

The tawny fawn cant be beat. I have a mid brown that looks great but the fawn just seems to be my favorite... great job on the crease!

Lefty -- I think that is one of the most outstanding lids I have ever seen here on the Lounge. The style is classic, the satin finish is beautifully done, the color is gorgeous, the condition is pristine -- and, it has a unique background.

Absolutely fantastic.

It looked like dryer lint out of the box, but a little brushing, and it was ready to go.

Lefty, I must say that when I saw that hat on Ebay I thought wow, that is one fuzzy hat, and I thought I could certainly never pull it off. But, now that you have brushed it I am just amazed. Beautiful. :eusa_clap

Word to the wise...heed Sundody's sizing recommendations.
I wear a 7 3/8 but ordered a 7 1/2 and the fit is perfect, just slightly snug.

I'll mess with the bash a little later and will definitely replace the ribbon.

Bought this hat primarilly for work since it can get wet.

2 new hats in 2 days...wow.

Agreed - that is a beautiful result, Lefty. I had a fairly big snipe on it, but couldn't picture it actually sitting on my head, so withdrew. But after your brushing and turning down the brim, I can certainly see it on my head (my birthday's coming up).
