Jaxon Hats "Golden Hill" Raffia Straw that I mentioned in a thread or two:
A lightweight and relatively inexpensive straw hat that's extremely comfortable. Initially it came with a Center Dent crease (left), but I changed that to a Teardrop (right):
Just a goofy, fun hat that I like more than I thought I would.
That'll be perfect for gettin' your vampire hunting on.

The Bailey B-Bar-B arrived, but is too small (closer to 7-3/8 than 7-1/2.). The photos make it look a lot dustier than real life. Expect to see it up for sale soon.

Speaking of real distressing ... I wonder what the story is behind the fire inside of this O.P.S. era (1953) Stetson Open Road. Another recent arrival that does fit me.

That's what I was thinking! I have a small, round burn in the seat cover of my truck that I have explained (to more than a few people) was from me leaving my truck door open while burning a large brush pile and an ember floated in. No one buys it. Whatever -- I'm just glad I didn't set my truck on fire.

Ludwig Skrivanek Graz, Hutfabrikation, measures 58.5 cm, possibly 1930s. The Black Fur Felt has a nice Smooth Finish. It has a lower profile which is pleasing. Appears that the Sweatband was stitched back in at a later time. I have one other Stiff Felt from Ludwig Skrivanek Graz, Hutfabrikation. I wasn't able to find any information on Ludwig Skrivanek Graz, Hutfabrikation production capabilities. I tend to think they sourced the entire Stiff Felt. I was told by the Seller that this Stiff Felt belonged to her great uncle who was the owner of the first bandage company in Germany, F. & C. Achenbach Frankfurt am Main (founded 1882) but the company didn't survive WWII.
