I didn’t get a new hat but it sure seems like I did! I haven’t been able to wear these beauties in a long time, but now they fit like custom after Bob Jessee put in these new ostrich leather sweatbands. He did phenomenal work! Thanks Bob! I’m really excited to get these back into regular rotation.

Very nice! My first impression was that “those should really stick to your head”, which led to “that’s gonna leave a funny hatband mark!” for folks like me with a balding head! I hope you get a lot of healthy, happy wear from these!

That is a fine # 1 and they are a favorite of mine. I have two but neither in as fine a shape as that one. I'd go 50's as well. Love the three ply ribbon on that one. Both mine have the skinny single ply.

Thanks Bama, I knew it was special when I saw it online, but it was all bashed up in the photos. Opening the box I thought it was brand new, heck some of my brand new hats don't look this new.
