A derby of all hats!
And a rare riding derby with a short crown and vent holes. Very close to my size to boot.

Ouch. This is not how an over 100-year-old derby is supposed to be shipped Goodwill. com!

I was following this one but the brim is just too narrow for me.

Or is this a two-piece construction bowler?
I think it was two pieces, but I'll defer the the bowler/derby experts on how these things were made. If it fit me I might consider having a duplex made (with a Panama crown).
It’s worse than I thought.

Of course it doesn’t fit.
And I can steam the crown back open without fear of shrinking the sweat.

Thanks Brent. Looking forward to their arrival…. Definitely something different. Had them on my radar and Bob sending me a link as well confirmed for me to dig in on these.Nice, Joe! I was hoping those would show up here. Multiplying hats is a phenomenon with no solution.
