A sobering cautionary tale!48 L. Back when I was a 52, I emailed John, and every other maker. Only one that would accommodate me was Aero. I lost 35 pounds and now I'm broke lol
Wow... 5 pages in one day!!!! Wowsers!!!! But the reason why is obvious... sweet, sticky jacket porn!. The contrast with the leather and stitching is fabulous. Amazing and what patience. I don't have it. That kind of craftmanship makes me want to take my measely offerings and hide!!! LOL! Man that jackets sick. Can't wait to see you model it. Congrats Bud!

I asked for it. The other is a vintage PITA. It looks cool, and is vintage, but I hated it. If I have to think that much to get a jacket zipped, I don't want it. Now, OTOH, I don't zip my jackets up much so I was willing to overlook it if it had fit right. And I would have. But ordering as-new, no way did I want to put up with it. I know some might wonder why I didn't go gold-tone on the zips, but I like the more vintage and less-polished look of the nickel. Everyone likes different things, so that was my choice. I have to wear it after allJust to keep the conversation going until you get this jacket... Regarding the zipper, the visible rivets on the first jacket have disappeared on the new second jacket, did you ask for this option? I like the hidden rivet look much better by the way.
No itch and goes on easy. Love it. Just got some iPhone pics, but my wife is not feeling well and was in a hurry to finish. I'll post up. I'll also cover my ugly head lolJust looked at them, man, the color is impossible to capture with an iPhone. I'll post 'em, but they don't do the color and hide justice.Congrats on the new jacket. What motivated you to get the wool lining? Have you tried it? A lot of vintage leather jackets had wool linings, but I'm always worried it might itch.
