I recently acquired two gorgeous Lost Worlds jackets, a 16 year old Suburban through eBay and a basically new Easy Ryder through this forum. I was actually contacted by a fellow Lounger after I replied to an old sales thread for an Easy Ryder, that was of course long sold. He said he was planning on selling his, but wanted to reach out to see if I was interested before listing it for everyone to see. What a truly class move, and yet another sign of how awesome this community is.
The Suburban I acquired by the help of @ton312, thanks again bud. This is one killer jacket, as you well know since you got to handle it before proxying that bad boy to the Netherlands.
The last and only Lost Worlds I had previously owned was a standcollar A-2, which was much too big at that time (but would fit perfectly now, go figure...). Still kinda regret letting that one go, but oh well. C'est la vie.
Now, for the photographic evidence, as I finally got two excellent photographers who came and helped me snap pics today.
Both are a size 42. The Easy Ryder fits best IMO, but the Suburban is a stellar casual jacket. I saw pics of what this jacket looked like brand new, and holy cripes what a world of difference. Simply crazy, you would not believe it is the same exact jacket. Lost Worlds jackets are almost a pain to look at when brand new, but god diggity damn do they develop into something gorgeous over time.
