This is a Lost Worlds A-1 in goatskin, size 42.

The design is a very traditional A-1 style, with a button front, knit collar and cuffs, knit waistband, and two button-flap patch pockets.

As you would expect from goatskin, the leather feels relatively soft and supple from the start, but it is also quite thick. It feels noticeably more substantial than the lighter goatskin jackets you might normally think of, and has the typical heavy, solid construction I associate with Lost Worlds.

The knits are also extremely sturdy. The collar, cuffs, and waistband all feel thick and dense, and suit the substantial character of the jacket very well.

The fit is typical of an A-1, with a short body and a waistband that gives the jacket a clearly defined silhouette. The size 42 gives me a little room through the body, but considering the thickness of the leather and the sturdy knits, I think the overall balance works well.

It is a very simple and traditional A-1 design, but the heavy-duty Lost Worlds construction gives it a lot of presence.

Was this serendipity or did you request Stuart make it from a particularly thick hide?

...and yeah, the jacket looks great. Definitely.
