TBH an Aero would seem a downgrade to your current collection

In all seriousness I’d go with something that could be customized vs these “off the rack” sizes/ designs. You’ll be able to dial in your fit and spec your own preferences with regard to the design. I’m assuming the jackets in the OP’s post were OTR. Apologies if that is incorrect. I’d also consider a heavy weight leather vs the existing mid-weights (you’ve got that more than covered). If you haven’t tried CXL, dreadnought LW 4oz, vintage Vanson comp weight, Cal HH or JL overdye...you’re missing out. I’d be looking for a heavy weight, (perhaps) customizable jacket next.

Lot's of great stuff so far

I'd obviously suggest Freewheelers, but otherwise I think a cafe racer from Field Leathers or Thedi would be great as well as others have said.

Maybe a car coat like the Freewheelers Brakeman or Himel Canuck.

Thanks guys! What an overwhealming response! I see that I "need" a custom jacket as all of my jackets are off the rack (at least for me). My body type seems to be OK for off the rack, but clearly custom is a different ballgame. Thedi and Field Leathers are really tempting! Freewheelers seems to be the gold standard for off the rack high quality leather jackets... Style wise I am open to almost anything. Car jackets I can see myself in in ten years time... It is missing in my collection, I know, and I will get there eventually. Cossack style jackets I have covered with my Wolverine. The collar needs some time getting used to, but I'm getting there. Different leathers is for sure a thing to dive into. I live in a small community and far from any big metropolitan city, so exploring this is a thing for post Covid times. I need to go to London to touch, feel and try! Rabbit holes here I come! What a great community TFL is!!

Well, as you yourself can gather by most of the responses in this thread, pretty much anything else you can look into can only be the same or lower tier, with no particular maker or jacket standing out of the crowd. You'd think there's nowhere else to go but there is another level, sort of a God tier: Carol Christian Poell

Look into the brand. Your wallet might suffer (CCP leather jacket is around $5000-$6000) but you will have something you cannot get anywhere else, from tanning and material to pattern. Their horsehide is in-house veg tanned, specifically designed for each item individually. Same story with snaps, zippers, etc. Poell studied anatomy and is implementing this knowledge in designing his stuff so each jacket considers anatomy down to the bone. It's crazy stuff, really but the downside is that once exposed to CCP, you end up looking down on anything else afterwards. XD

This jacket looks really cool, but I don't like a lot of what the picture search spits out.

Haha I felt the same way at first. Give it time, read, learn... It's actually quite amazing, what these guys do. That tanning business is unlike anything we know. Not to mention only a few pieces made, etc. Plus the jackets truly are beautiful and so are the boots.

does SF forum kidnap and hold your dog to ransom?

lol just a joke man :p...
still probably require whole new attitude and wardrobe to wear any of that... probably even a new minimalist house with exposed concrete everywhere...

Lol, but y'know, I often think of you when I watch CCP stuff. You have a different style of course but you wear it the same way those guys wear CCP - or maybe I should say, the way those guys only wish CCP would fit them - so I'm thinking you could pull it off as easily as... I don't know, something that happens easily. It would be a sort of alternate universe you, an evil/chaos/dark version of you.

And SF is still scared of CCP. More like StyleZeitGeist. XD

I would watch that movie! Monitor dressed head to toes in 5oz CCP, barelly able to walk under the weight, battling SF hipsters looking for his dog. Even Keanu couldn't stop him!
