An open-faced bbq pork sandwich, piled high and topped with hot chow-chow, and several glasses of tea.

Had a breaded chicken sandwich with bacon and some chips for lunch.

My colleague bought these cherries as a lunch/ snack.
We renamed them perries ( the size of a small plum)
i've never seen anything like it.
They tasted amazing though!

Grilled burgers & chips at Lily's school. We were part of a small crew of volunteers to help clean up the campus today to get ready for starting school. 3 hours of landscaping. Definitely earned the nap I took this afternoon!

Frozen cardboard pizza. The kind Aldi sells for about $2. If you put a bunch of extra cheese on them.....they still suck.

The trick is to wait until you’re starving. Eat it with your favorite cold drink .

They still suck...but at least you’re no longer hungry !

Today I had mac-n-cheese and green beans, leftover from the other night. Could've used a few cold drinks with that too, but I'm at work.

Went out for a hot dog at the ice cream/snack stand on the corner.

Went to local diner for a carne guisada taco.
I then rode to the corner store for a bottle of Dr. Pepper
& spotted something almost as rare as
my ’54 green phantom.

Jalapeño cheeseburger, cheese fries, and a few glasses (OK - Styrofoam cups) from a joint called G -dawg's (G as in ghetto) near my work. They got good hot dogs and burgers there.

#2 combo from one of my favorite restaurants- red enchiladas, green chile con carne, red tamale, refried beans, rice, chips and salsa as an appetizer. Good stuff!

Had a tofu hot dog with vegan chili.

Probably wouldn't have been my first choice, but someone else brought 'em over and fed my kids lunch, and for that I'm thankful. You can't really knock a free meal.
