Today.....homemade little burgers on Hawaiian rolls, with bacon, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, and sriracha.

Rice cooker! That is what I use. It is great for sticky rice (which we are having tonight with stirfry).

I have a bad habit of leaving the kitchen thinking it’s only for minute. But...:eusa_doh:

Mine has a lever I push down to "cook", and it pops up when rice is done, switching over to a "warm" setting. I'm usually near enough to hear it pop (it is loud), so I just unplug it when rice is done. It is a Rival 10 cup cooker. I only make 2 cups of rice, so I could get by with a smaller one, but it was a wedding present from my aunt 9 (!) years ago.

Hamburger steak with gravy and onions, spinach, and a big glass of iced tea. For desert I tried pecan cobbler. Glad I did.

Actually, it was pretty sizable. The half was probably about the equivalency to a quarter pounder from McDonald's.

Leftover beef stew I made on Sunday night. It was so good!! I added mushrooms to it this time. Need to do that from now on.
