How thick is it? I also have a Suburban. Mine is 4 oz. It's amazing but after two years it barely shows any signs of patina.

I don't. I had a j-23 but sold it to Mysteryo. I would say it was probably the most well built jacket I've owned. Ultimately I preferred my Vanson for functions sake but I put LW's in a class all their own. There wasn't a single stitch out of place. It was the most error free jacket I've ever seen. And that HH Stu uses...it's something else.

Hmm... it would be a difficult choice. The russet PJ27 at the end of the page on his site looks really good.
It obviously works perfectly in black as well.
I'd probably say get it in russet and leave black for some future project. If I am not mistaken, you have more black jackets than any other colour, don't you?

It looks like a 3 oz, so if you dont know for sure, I could be right. Cause 3.5 and 4 oz isnt a big difference, but mine is like it made of metal[emoji1] But yours looks pretty supple. Yeah, I will post my pics asap.

How heavy is yours and which size?

It's almost exactly the same as mine except mine is a size 42. Fantastic jacket, feels almost like light armor even at 3-3.5oz.

It's not as dark as it looks, for some reason it came out quite a bit darker. Still a very nice colour
