Steve, Thank you! What is funny is the Gotisches Haus Hat Museum Bad Homburg thought the maker was Hellings Bonn which I told them was actually a hat shop and P. & C. Habig Wien was the hat company that made the hat.
Oh my, sounds like they need some better experts at that museum, Steve. Or at least, someone who can correct their mistakes.

I have posted this one before, but that was before Fleur of Penumbra repolaced the brim binding for me. We decided to go for a high contrast this time, because I have loads of hats in a similar colour scheme and I felt it was time for something different. Borsalino Mula 40 1/2 in Palladio.

After:

Before (there already was a lot of contrast there):

Wonderful choice of new brim binding, Stefan. Really makes that Borsalino stand out. You and Fleur make a good team.

Thanks, guys. Once you get to this number of grey homburgs you can do with something a bit different;)

It always amazes me that some people just don't understand why one would need so many grey Homburgs. I can see the difference in all of them and the need for each and every one of them [emoji4]. Great grey Homburg collection, Stefan.

A kindred spirit (I knew that):). That is precisely why I have so many and I have to restrain myself from adding more.

It's been a post and pre war European Homburg couple of days. Antonin France, dark blue, circa late 1940s, then a German, 1930s all wool, black, back bowed, wind-corded, Harald.
