Newly acquired Paradise Found and a Stratoliner

I'm generally not a big fan of the Stratoliner, but that is the best one I've seen. Must be the model.

Sometimes you just need the right combination of old, grizzled and roadworn to pull it off lol

Got a new Paradise Found in today... didnt have any grey-ish ones so it tempted me. This ones actually a green-grey. Guess I need to go through the wall and figure what hats pair best with it. The natural Hemp goes great, but the Black Akubra and the grey Beaver dont clash too badly

That's a striking shirt Rick, a real head turner. The hat to wear with it is always a personal choice, all three examples show the shirt off well, more than that, the shirt compliments any of those hats. All have that wow factor. You look great.

Not all Hawaiian style shirts are floral. This fabric that my lady came across, at one of the festivals that we enjoy going to, depicts the golden age of travel, that time between the two world wars, also known as the swingtime jazz age. It gets many a complimentary remark.



Here's a close up for you to see my wife's skilful handiwork.



Look down the centre of the picture and you will just see the buttons. Do you see how she lines up the pattern on the fabric? Look again, closely, about an inch to the right of the buttons and you might just see the stitches of the breast pocket. The actual pocket is so well matched it all but disappears.

The multi-colour of the shirt allows
for almost any hat colour.

Great shirt Bill and I love the high dome straw hat. Oh to have some Texan weather and be able to wear straw hats. In the last month (31 days) we have had more than six inches of rainfall.

Agreed on the "More than Floral" shirts thoughts. I love the "themed " shirts ( i.e. Travel, figure studies, tribal designs , geometrics, drinks, dogs, etc) Now that Im retired I just enjoy less stodgy shirts. The new one jumped out at me because I already had the same shirt in red. Ive always been impressed when a shirt company takes the effort to match up the patterns on the pocket and panels

It's that time of the year, Tina came up with this shirt a while back. It never fails to attract attention.

I thought the Post Office was closed for Columbus Day, But the mail person showed up with some boxes. A couple new Paradise Found shirts got here today. Pardon the wrinkles but I HAD to try on ( Im fixing that issue in the dryer right now) Nice neutral Montichristi goes well. The airy light yellow Palm is almost new and looks really good. The lively green Banana shirt is used but in nice condition. ( I needed something to go with a couple green hats lol)

I just need to know someone with a talented wife who has lots of leftover cool fabrics! lol I know my way around sewing machines and can backwards engineer a pattern
