I much prefer the flat brim open crown look on you over the porkpie. You have the size & shoulders to carry the look.
Corona Familiar, Rand's flat brim open crown.

Thanks HJ, It's been a slow (and extreme) transition!I much prefer the flat brim open crown look on you over the porkpie. You have the size & shoulders to carry the look.
They are not mine. They are French gilted bronze tantalus liquor cabinets. The glassware is crystal with gold leaf & dates to the 1880's. Pretty rare I would think....the bar set is absolutely stunning ! Can you share some details on it ?
Worth it I would say! Thanks HJ, It's been a slow (and extreme) transition!
Home & breaking seal on this bottle of Connemara Original Peated Irish Single Malt Whiskey with my Stetson Shady Oak Farm Amon Carter/Washer Bros 3X, after a cemetery run to honor those who came before me & paved the way.

Happy Memorial Day, all!
Have you drank any of the Distillery series from the older casks? I'll be trying this one soon.Wow, great run. I especially like the Aberlour.
It is very tasty & Scotch like, for an Irish Whiskey. The Peat smoke is very pleasant but not as heavy as an Islay Scotch, if that gives you an idea. I would say at this time Connemara Original would be my favorite Irish Whiskey.I need to try the Commemara myself, it sounds tasty.
Oh yes! A relaxing moment enjoying the last of today's sunlight.
I am still finding amusement with the Guinness early 1900's advertising campaign.
Cheers, Eric

We are in Florida for the week visiting family, and we drove to Titusville to watch the rocket launch that never happened. We were stuck in traffic for 2 hours trying to get out of town. In the midst of the traffic jam we conveniently were stopped in front of a liquor store. I went in to find that they had a 1.75L bottle of Rebel Yell for $25. Thinking back, I should have bought 2 for that price. Hindsight...The museum finally opened for the season today but due to social distancing the lessees were asked to stay away. But I've been there in spirit.
