Hückel Jota Seal Velour in black. Size 57 with the raw edge brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 11,5cm at the center dent. As expected the felt is incredible on this hat. Only n i g g le I have is that the liner is sagging. Have to figure out a way to remedy that.

"Collins Wien" started out as "Hutfabrik / Hat Factory J. Kollin" in 1949. Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1949.

In 1952 it became known as "Hutfabrik Kollin". Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1952.

In 1954 the factory changed locations. Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1954.

In 1956 the "Collins" hat store opened. The "Hutfabrik Kollin" is also listed. Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1956.

The factory still has a separate listing. Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1956.

In 1968 the the "Collins Salzburg" store opened. There is still a seperate listing for "Hutfabrik Kollin". Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1968.

In 1977 "Collins" changes to "Collins Hüte" and "Hutfabrik Kollin" changes to "Hutfabrik Walter Kollin". Wien Amtliches Telephonbuch 1977.

The status remains the same up to 1979. I will include the 1980s when I have that information.

Mayser Trademarks (1950s and later)

Mayser made hats under the Parker 713 Broadway New York brand name starting in 1960 (image from 1966). They also tradmarked the Hilton brand name in 1962 but no image is available.

Some straw and felt related trademarks from late 50s and early 60s.

@mayserwegener , I just got this one in new to me. Is it possible that this could be one of the 1960's era "Hilton" Hats made by Mayser, referenced (but not pictured) above?
