I thought it would be nice to share an update on how the jacket has developed.

This is what it looks like after three months of daily wear. There's hardly any wear on the leather, which is no surprise since I only wear the jacket when going out for a walk in the park or when I go somewhere by car. But the jacket now has tons of character from all those beautiful creases which developed after the first time it got wet. Also, some additional grain is starting to pop. (disclaimer: I did use a higher quality camera to take the update photos and the lightning is slightly different as compared to the 'before' photo's)

What I like most about the jacket is its collar, how it perfectly stays in shape. It has a nice curve to it and I love how it's perfectly round across the neck hole.
Looking good, Marc!

It’s the way they install them. I don’t know what they do, but the main-zips always go wavy. I’m trying really hard to keep mine from doing it.

Typically, I would give the whole jacket a Hot Water Dunk, but this one, I’m avoiding it...I hadn’t considered just sitting down and asking it nicely.

Edit- It said “no”, but thanked me for the approach.

Marc, the jacket is brilliant looking! Makes me question whether I should just get same style from Greg as well as I had plans to order the Wingman from Bill Kelso and get something different from Greg. I am just waiting for him to roll out his new designs before I decide which direction to go in.

BTW, I didn't realize you live in Holland, whereabouts? My sister in law is in Goor and I have friends scattered throughout.

I think the biggest differences between this FL and the BK Wingman would be the leather (Shinki vs Liberty HH). Liberty HH having that fast wearing look. + FL offering full bespoke of course.

I live in Amsterdam.

Beautiful jacket and great fit pics.
I’m waiting on a reply from Greg regarding if he is going to be making sheepskin jackets in future,,a b3 would be my preference.

Love Amsterdam, although my wife doesn't like to travel to Holland very much. She thinks it's boring lol. She lived in Nijmegen, Amersfoort, and Utrecht for 10 years or so.

just gorgeous breaking in. I can't wait to get mine. I'm going to wear it every day to get some of the teacore coming out. Hoping it gets here in a couple weeks. Think Greg is on some well deserved R&R and hopefully my jacket is part of that first batch of the new year.

I would also like to see how FL's non-aniline leathers break in. I'm especially interested in the brown pigment dyed (with yellowish core) and the black teacore.

I just did a stitch count on my new Goodwear modoc and it is consistently at about 10 as measured around pockets and front vertical seams.
