So…. The nails in the heels of my RM Williams set off the TSA metal detector at MCO (Orlando), my least favorite airport in the world.

Its such a phenomenal leather. If there was a clean way to cut down the width, i'd love a jacket made from this material!

Could have it skivved down if you could get your hands on some, but it definitely looks like a leather made for boots. They also offer a neat looking boar leather that's available in a thinner width too.

Just for general wear. I'm usually in a laboratory or at my desk for work, but on days I'm in the field on a research farm, basically any boot has been fine. I usually wear Red Wings there though last time I wore some 10" Nicks Boots.

I’ve had this pair of RMWs for 15 years, though once the second sole started wearing out they sat at the back of the closet for over 5 years. I sent them to Unsung to perform some heresy, giving an American work boot sole to the classic Aussie ‘bush slippers’. These are the pics they sent me. I should get them by the weekend!

Just got these shell indies to replace the ones I'm selling. Had to go up a width to get more toe room, though it's a little wider everywhere else as well. Helps with wearing thicker socks. Never been a fan of the flat waxed laces and will be replacing them with round ones, just deciding on the color....
