Lucchese goat ropers
Nice. I like the straightforward, unfussiness of these. I'm increasingly tempted to look into a pair of very simply featured boots like these for travelling in Winter. Flew in engineer boots once, but they were a timesuck at airport security.
Golly do these take me back. I took myself to the Red Wing store with my checkbook in high school, and bought a pair of those nearly the same as the ones you displayed here. Wrote out a check for them - $126.00 as I recall. I had never written a check for anything over $100 to that point. Use the living life out of them over the next 6 years, even with oiling, I managed to do them in completely at a summer camp where we forded several briny creeks, rivers and small swamps. Yeah, not a good use for Pecos...but otherwise they were amazing boots that never gave me any problems at all. Just wish I would have been a little wiser with them and not taken them to camp.
Yeah, the ropers would be ideal for airport security. To too tall and no buckles.Nice. I like the straightforward, unfussiness of these. Nice boots! Were these made by Unsung, or a refurb?
Awesome! I love those old Swedish army boots(great quality and you can have them for a stealIn the process of (re)soling these 1954 Swedish Army boots.
I applied sole protectors, many wood pegs in the heel, and glued and nailed the old toplift on again.
Some more sanding, especially on the heel, and edge paint and they are good to go.

so uniquePower Lineman's pole climbing boots. Somewhere between 40-50 years old.
(edit: These were originally sold as motorcycle riding boots in a US magazine called Easy Riders. I'd wager that magazine has long since died but it was a Harley rider thing, naked women on the cover and inside a general tone of f the man. The boots were marketed by the magazine directly and as they had an idiot in their marketing department the boots were originally sold in the 1970's under the trade name "Nasty Feet". They were originally made by RedWing and then later by Chippewa (or vice versa). These are in outstanding condition for being 50 years old. With a little bit of a stretch and a thin gel insole they'll be more fun to wear. Unless you go searching you'll probably never see another pair).

They definitely are. A link to the sort of marketing that Easy Riders was known for is both **** and here:so unique
Tell me about monkey boots. Who wears them? What do they go with?
I was vaguely aware of them in the mod and skinhead scene, but have been seeing more and more boots in this style with more of an Americana/ heritage workwear vibe to them.
