Been getting into shoes more than boots lately. We’ll see how that goes.

These are my Xero Shoes “Denver” model.
My daily wear in Brooklyn. They’re a “barefoot” shoe, canvas upper and flannel liner with glued on sole. They’re essentially moccasins built to survive long term use on concrete sidewalks.
They’re crazy durable, I thought the flannel liner would wear down on the heel, but it’s been fine. This is maybe my third year in them, and the fake leather (“vegan leather”) on the inside of the eyelets has started to rub through in a few places.
I like them, but I want an all leather version with a stitched sole as an upgrade.

I have an almost identical looking shoe - it's LL Bean made by Chippewa. Really like them quite a bit.
