First pair of loafers, from a local brand called Fiddler shoes. Produced in Spain

Found out about it myself online I guess. I'm in canada. I go for niche brands because I have niche tastes. Stuff like Keen and Merrell seem like garbage. Scarpa is too narrow for my foot and I don't like the look of moc toe. I'm picky too, I'll admit that freely.

I've had the exact same Keen sandals since 2019, they've been all over the province, and the world with me.. oceans, rivers and mountains. They are ugly as sin but I can wear them all day without thinking about them, I've thought about replacing them with a different colourway but they simply don't need to be replaced because they've held up so well.

Best method for cleaning verdigris off metal eyelets on leather boots? I have a pair of Whites Bounty Hunters that I haven't worn in a while that I'm considering selling, and while going over them I noticed the green oxidation on the eyelets. Would a vinegar and baking soda paste be safe to use around the CXL HH of the boots?

just wipe with qtips. comes off easily. can use leather conditioner too.

I've never had it stick to or stain leather. I usually just wipe and use a needle or equivalent to dig it out of the crevices.

Fyi the sebagos were returned. Did not like the leather. Ordered another pair of rancourt. Will be wearing these with short shorts all summer long

Just a damp q-tip works. I have used vinegar/water solution and it also worked. No damage or anything. Afterwards I run some wax over the eyelets to delay verdigris’ return.

Welp…rancourts out of stock cancelled order. I Came across Gokey boots and ordered two pair to check out. Looks like they are even older than Russell moccasin company. Anyone have any experience with them? Look pretty cool classic style. Plenty in stock. Nice 7-8oz leather.
