The extra leather from the bi-swing back prevents the outer shoulder area to flex and drape to match the actual shoulder.
It looks OK. Thats a "feature " of the bi-swing back.

Seeking opinions on this new brown Flat Head single rider - my first Shinki horsehide jacket. I probably should have tucked my shirt in before the photo was taken.

I have somewhat broad shoulders for my slim frame, so this jacket seems to fit nicely albeit stiff. I understand there's lots and lots of breaking in to do yet as I've only put a few hours of wear on it.

Thanks.

Yes, you should have tucked your shirt in. No way to tell where the hem of the jacket is in relation to the belt line if the belt line isn't visible.

Having long arms, I have always been sensitive to the length of the sleeves. I would like to see the sleeves on this jacket an inch or two longer.

Sleeves look quite short, at least by an inch. Also the bottom hem looks short in relation to the belt line.

Hopefully these photos with a tucked in shirt give a clearer picture. The sleeves are cropped which seems common with the Flat Head single riders (most of the model pics show a similar cropped look) but I think the body lands pretty well when I see it with the tucked in shirt.

Open to hearing from others, though.
