The extra leather from the bi-swing back prevents the outer shoulder area to flex and drape to match the actual shoulder.
It looks OK. Thats a "feature " of the bi-swing back.

Seeking opinions on this new brown Flat Head single rider - my first Shinki horsehide jacket. I probably should have tucked my shirt in before the photo was taken.

I have somewhat broad shoulders for my slim frame, so this jacket seems to fit nicely albeit stiff. I understand there's lots and lots of breaking in to do yet as I've only put a few hours of wear on it.

Thanks.

Yes, you should have tucked your shirt in. No way to tell where the hem of the jacket is in relation to the belt line if the belt line isn't visible.

Having long arms, I have always been sensitive to the length of the sleeves. I would like to see the sleeves on this jacket an inch or two longer.

If I was mostly going to wear it zipped up like that or layered I would go up a sz, but if I’m mostly wearing it open with tshirt or merino sweater I’d keep it, otoh maybe you’re like Herv and just prefer the cropped sleeves, they don’t look bad but they do look short, overall it works on your frame because the jacket body is also relatively cropped and you’re slim.
