Prior to the sell out I had a business account w/ Filson and bought their vests in bulk, had them monogrammed w/ the company logo and gave them away.

I rec'd a few of their catalogs post acquisition and recognized that they were selling the sizzle and not the steak. I moved on shortly after. I probably still have a few of their brand new vests in one of the back rooms.
Do you mind sharing who your vest supplier is these days?

I'm keeping my eyes open for other Made in US suppliers, especially canvas products. I know Red Clouds Collective and Freenote Cloth. Others you reccommend?

Hope it’s ok to step in, but a few that come to mind are Ciano Farmer, Grease Point Workwear, Rogue Territory.

Can't wait to hear our guys weigh in on the attraction/maker/rarity etc. if there is any.
Agreed! I honestly thought it was going to cap at 250-300ish. I tried to figure out the maker but couldn’t. The zipper is similar to one I have on an 80 avirex jacket with the wire loop. Pocket zips look the same as my 70s Sears.

I don't give away vests anymore. It was a little bit of a hassle in that I always had to have too many in order to hopefully fit the next guy and then there were some folks that would want (and merit) what they'd seen someone else receive but there would be no way to fit them.

When Filson changed I abandoned them and the hassle associated w/ managing inventory, fit and monogram. Haven't looked back and haven't missed Filson though I do have some of their legacy stuff that is curiously nice. I've got a green double mac mouton ruff closet queen that never gets worn but is beautifully made to a hight standard for a wool jacket. Might just take that one out for a strut later this month.
