A version of the Schott 370 (the "Duke") roughout is now being sold at Allen Edmonds for $1,105, which is $100 less than what Schott sells the Duke for.
The most obvious difference I can see is the AE version has a full internal lining, unlike the Duke which is unlined.
I am uncertain about the hide treatment, as the Duke is oiled which gives it some measure of water resistance. You would have to reach out to either Schott or AE to confirm if the AE version leather was also oiled.

Based on what I read sounds more like an artsy boutique brand as opposed to a more rugged, utilitarian brand like Pioneer Wear. Earlier Char pieces often featured painted artwork. I do like the piping and detailing on this.

And just got it. Certainly a steal and fits me well over a tshirt, I can surely wear a thick sweater underneath too.
Absolute steal for the price. Still smells like new leather jacket.
