Not the best price that I've ever seen on these, but still very good compared to what they usually go for in JP.

Y'2 LEATHER EB-140 ECO HORSE TYPE I JEAN JACKET Size 36 (black) for ~450eur / ~500usd.
I'd consider this myself if it was their olive or indigo eco horse or if this black was closer to 65000yen

Very cheap 3sixteen X Schott A2 Collage in a Size L. If I recall correctly, these were made from Horween leather and fairly sought after after release. Seller doesn't know what he has at his hands...

I've bitten. I'll let you know once I get it.

Not into A2s, but for basically half the price a Chinese or Pakistani one would cost, it is a good gamble.

For the time being, one that I would be buying if I didn't have a shearling already:

US made Schott B3 in size 44, 420€ plus Vinted fees. Less than half the price of a Pakistan made Schott B3.

Looks like the vendor thread is locked, so I’ll just add here that the new Rugged West aviator looks awesome. Brava, @Leilah RW !

RW really "hit" with this one(also like the LOT.585 aviator) imo.
If they keep on releasing bangers like this I'll have to start thinking about pulling the trigger and getting one for myself.

Cheers!

It is really gorgeous. Quite a bit like the Real McCoy's aviator they did for the Armoury a few years ago.

Right, so I know there's an entire sub-forum devoted to this but... Not only do I constantly keep forgetting about it (and I don't think I'm alone on this) but since it's intended for general vintage finds of all kinds, there's just too many stuff to browse through - so - how about a thread dedicated only to good deals on leather jackets?

eBay, Etsy, Grailed, etc. - anything goes as long as the listings aren't yours.

Some nice car coats that I've come across during my search for getting one myself.
All prices without any campaigns or negotations, so you can potentially get these down 10-20% more.
If I manage to decide which one then I'll likely grab one of these next month when the funds trickle in.

Y2 HC-82 size 38 (more like a 36 I guess) for ~520eur:

Aero Veste de Rallye size 34 (so more like a 36-38) for ~310eur:

SUGAR CANE SC80498 size 38 for ~330eur:

I guess you could argue that Aero is the safest bet with the lowest price and potentially highest resale value, but it's likely the heaviest one too. Y2 is probably their nicest car coat model but the price is a bit on the steep side. Sugar Cane is the least well know and lowest resale value I guess, but it looks nice and light + lovely corduroy lining.

Any opinions on which one I should go for? Feel free to grab something from under my nose to make it easier for me haha.

Sugar Cane it is. The flap pockets on the Y2 are too loud, the Aero sizing is too wild to bother with, I once had a size 36 with 60 cm PTp, and Sugar Cane makes a very decent product plus dark brown very versatile.
