Westride is Japanese. Made in USA, or at least many of them are.

Westride usually goes for around that price, they retail around $1100-ish mark? (Depending on the jacket)

Fair price considering it's imported already into the US

Here are some sold listings from Yahoo Japan which range around $150 to around the $700 mark.

So they're about $800 USD new currently. I have read that Johnson Leathers were the ones making these originally, but I think that was the older jackets before the label that you see in the ebay listing and on their website currently. They don't appear to say they are Made in the U.S.A. any longer. If anyone has more info, please share. I'd love to know for certain myself.

FL member eyewildshot claimed the jackets with these labels are made by Johnson.

Westride is a top-to-the-line garment line made for the Japanese market. In my book, they are a tier above The real Mc Coy. I have a nice 30's inspired goat aviator. Very much like the products Harley Davidson approved garments. They are so close to the originals. I have only seen one RMCJ that is just as good.

Just last year, an excellent jacket from westride was sold by one of our outstanding members. Those particular jackets are top-of-the-line and proof of what Johnsons from San Francisco can do. I wonder if Mr. Tam actually crafted those.

No, since I got the Field Leathers jacket I don’t have any room for a new one in my collection. I’m pretty strict. I thought the Westride looked like a very nice jacket so I posted it. I’ve been wrong before though. Glad to see this one seems to be hitting a spot. I really like the design and sleeve activity it’s showing.
