I like this jacket. Definite 1950s look when you notice the subtle details. Buttons, cut, cuff design, satin lining. Nothing about is outstanding. I am 6’ 178 Lbs and it fits as pictured. I am wearing a heavy sweatshirt.

I am wondering that too. Just the fact that they are there instead of leather cuffs and a leather lower band with elastic? Or are you seeing a problem in the knits others are missing?

The style with the knits (flight jacket) is just as not as popular as other styles imo. I routinely see vintage horsehide flight jackets for half the price of more popular styles in HH such as biker or HWM or whatever. I mean style generally, I don't refer to rare flight jackets; these of course command high prices.

Thank you for the response. I am a bit confused. Some folks just got excited over this jacket with knits. Obviously, they are very different jackets, but if knits are not as popular, what caused this green jacket to cross the threshold of cool.

I am not questioning anyone's taste here. I'm simply curious.

Well, I spotted this police jacket. I don't know the maker (Taubers?), but its corduroy at collar suggests 40s-50s to me. Maybe the price is a little too high: 690€...
