You are killing me.
Better you than me. Flip it for a nice $500 profit! You are killing me.
Thanks.I hadn't realised that the Hercules were brand new. Those grizzlies look good value for the money especially as it is a bit of a niche style.Same seller also has a number of Grizzlies, and this:

I have never heard of a Hercules Leather Co from London, England, so no idea what quality it is, but it sure looks nice. Good thing it's too small for me.

Red alert! That's the CAL we were all watching a few weeks ago, at least until the auction abruptly ended with the jacket supposedly getting sold for 125 GBP. It would appear something went wrong as it earned the seller a negative review. I wish I knew what really was the problem but the whole thing looks very fishy, especially the reused screenshots.

According to the seller, who did not ridicule or speak ill of the buyer and has been quick to respond to my inquires and requests for photos, the US-based buyer believed he was lied to about the lining tear in the armpit. The buyer then decided upon the nuclear option-- bad review and aggressive emails. Who knows, but the leather on this jacket looks stellar.
I'd buy it, but for the stitching marks where the police patches used to be. If you're just looking for something that is built like a tank and perfect for riding in, and that doesn't bother you, the minor issues reported in that listing do sound like easy to address repairs, and non-issues (the replacement puller on one of the sleeve zippers.) At 150GBP (current price) it's a steal.

I stand corrected. Absolutely perfect jacket up for grabs though I can imagine the price will skyrocket. Must be another case of people expecting a brand new item, preferably with tags, after hitting a BIN on a 50 years old, used jacket.
