I have never heard of a Hercules Leather Co from London, England, so no idea what quality it is, but it sure looks nice. Good thing it's too small for me.
Yes, but that doesn't matter much; it will age and patina. Half the time I think sellers apply a light coat of dressing to their jackets to make them photograph nicer, too.It's interesting that you mention that English-made Hercules. As for the one you linked to, it appears waaaaaaaay too shiny for my taste. Almost like a glossy gym floor.

Yeah. Most of the items this seller offers are thankfully too small, or I'd have a hard time not buying them.That jacket isn't german, the label indicates Netherlandish making. Interesting jacket anywy.
