I think so. What is unusual is that it is calf. Pretty weak hide for CHP jacket. Maybe for a supervisor who does not ride daily. Is the oval chest patch for a 2 pin badge?

That makes sense,I think so. What is unusual is that it is calf. Pretty weak hide for CHP jacket. Maybe for a supervisor who does not ride daily.
Anyone know if these green-quilted era ones fit differently than the "old fit" pre-2021 black quilted J-24's that are notoriously slim? Thought I've read before that this even older ones with green quilting don't fit quite as slim but maybe that's hogwash.https://jp.mercari.com/item/m40142237709

Have also never seen a Real McCoy's J-24 with the laced hip/back (does that style have a specific name?) style instead of the zipper. Would love to know if anyone had more info on when they put out that version!
Interesting, thanks! Wish there was just some central database for these damn fit tweaks lol.View attachment 677836

Judging by the Mercari photos, my best guess is that it is the same jacket as the 2023 Fit in size 42 with added waist laces.
The Mercari jacket is from the New Zealand factory era, 1995 - 2000 is my best guess.
There are only two kinds of fits of this jacket from the RMC brand that I know of. One with very wide shoulders and very slim P2P measurement, and other (the more fashion one imo) with narrower shoulders and boxier body. They would tweak the tag size up and down over the years so going by P2P isn't the best measurement imo. The wider shoulder cut with smaller P2P fits bigger than the narrower shoulder with boxy body, and looks almost like the catalogue fit.
The Mercari jacket looks more like the current fashion fit but tagged one up in size is my best guess, the way it hangs on the Japanese size hanger which is usually only 16.5" wide. I almost hit BIN then I saw the hanger... I could be wrong but it's a bit risky. I am only looking for the fit that is the same as the 2006 one.
The jacket had an 80's replacement zipper.https://jp.mercari.com/item/m40142237709
