I have looked at this jacket a hundred times. The leather is real thick, you can tell from the pictures, that's the real deal old 4 plus oz horsehide, not the lighter stuff you see on most LW jackets these days. Unfortunately this jacket is stupidly short. 23" backlength and it has like a 2" backdip. This is essentially a 21" length jacket.

Agreed about the leather but I gotta admit that from the photos, I kind of prefer the lighter hide to the heavyweight stuff. There always seems to be a lot more grain and texture to the 3-ish oz stuff than what this kind of heavyweight leather usually displays. Not that I'd mind having a jacket in the 4+ oz HH though.
