The Filson Mackinaw Cruiser is my favourite coat by far. Only bought it last winter but wore it every day since.
However, I have noticed that the clothes I have worn underneath seem to have aged more rapidly than I would have thought. All were kind of newer stuff I just bought without prior history with the brands (including a Filson wintage flannel work shirt.)

Has anybody experience any particular accelerated aging of other clothes (because of friction I would imagine) because of the Mackinaw cruiser?
I have never experienced that phenomenon and I have a couple Filson mackinaws, wool vests, and mackinaw shirt jacs

Do you know the approximate weight of your 1992 Filson? I'm thinking that may be far enough in the past that they have the 30 oz. shell?
I can weigh it when I get home to check, it certainly feels more substantial than the current offering.

Thanks for the feedback.
I am not sure what is happening: 2 of my loopwheel hoodies (Real McCoy’s and Wonderlooper) seem to be showing pilling after only a couple weeks.
I have not seen anyone mention it so I was wondering if it might be due to the coat I was wearing (the other being a barbour jacket)
