I get it now! Thank you!

I’ve been on grandpa duty since Saturday, Max, just getting back to the Lounge this morning. Good thing others answered because I would have needed to call a friend, though. Having not been part of that cult, I can never remember the acronym it seems. I will now!

This was a defeat. While I was confirming that the hat truly was a 7 3/4 (the photos of the size tags were sent to me in a PM) someone else bought it from under me. I hope it’s someone here and I can at least see it from time to time. :)

Fortune favors the bold, and I was not bold in believing this was a 7 3/4 when the listing didn’t include and indication, or photos, of how the size was determined. I’m right 99 times in a hundred and this was the 100.

Sorry you missed it. That is a sweet boater.

Dang ... that hurts Brent. I guess we are both a bit gun shy about a stated hat size being a length measurement instead.

Yep. My standard message is: “I didn’t see a size tag in your photos. Can you please tell me how you determined the size.”
There wasn’t anything in the proportions that made me think 7 3/4 either. :(

Win some lose some.
