Congrats on the recent 100 acquisition!
I’m not in the market for one, but I like watching how high they go for.
Certainly the highest I’ve seen.
Saw a 3/8 Green mid 50s Whippet go two nights ago for $860.
Way to go, Bob!That green Whippet was sold by @BobHufford

Nice one, Joe. I have a VS black and burgundy that looks a lot like that one.
That is sweet!
I doubt a pristine cased 100 in 1/8 or 1/4 would have gone for even 1/3 of that.Congrats on the recent 100 acquisition!

The cased 7-1/8 Stetson 100s seem to go for between $300 and $400. Sometimes a tad less, but rarely more.I doubt a pristine cased 100 in 1/8 or 1/4 would have gone for even 1/3 of that.
Seller’s market for 3/8 and above, buyer’s market 1/4 and below!

Whoa!!I sold a pristine One-Hundred with case in 7 1/4 in August for $1,250. I think these hats are coming to market infrequently enough that buyers are willing to dig deep for clean specimens.
I saw Brent’s 1/4 100 go sky high. Congrats!
Saw another 1/4 go for $850 about six months ago.
Seen a bunch of 1/8 sell around $450
last year.
Get ready because I happen to know a guy that sells a lot of vintage hats on eBay who’s gonna sell a nice one, with case in very good condition in size 5/8 soon.
Wonder how high it’ll go?!!
The seller, a good friend, saw the 3/8 go for over $1500 and now wants to see just how much his is going to bring.
I’ll give him $200 and he can save all those eBay fees: win-win, right?
Hahahaha
I’ll run it by him.
Hey, Brent, what’s your take on the new eBay sans PayPal?
I like it as well. Though ultimately it does take a couple more days to actually receive your money since it has to go to your bank. But it is also nice not paying separate PayPal fees on top of the eBay fees. I hadn’t really looked close enough to see if eBay raised their fees to compensate though. As a buyer, PayPal is still available and it’s what I still use. As a seller, I don’t care how I’m paid as long as I’m paid. I was concerned when eBay rolled out their new payment processes late last year, but it’s been pretty smooth. I do like the payments having the fees deducted before payment is made rather than having a $400 bill every month. What’s your opinion on it?
