Yes. And sharkskin. Reitzel walked them thru for me since he lived so close. Been thinking about him a lot lately. We both liked a similar style. Miss his friendship.

I first remember seeing that picture of him in an old blog of Mark Fletcher’s.

Osuna is one of the makers I still follow and they seem to be doing well. They attend a lot of events and are making a fair amount of OTR boots along with the custom orders.

Joey Sanchez/Champion Attitude in El Paso. Black and ivory with olive green foxing. He made me a pair like this around 25 years ago but I've outgrown them so when I saw that they were having a 25% off all orders back during Memorial Day weekend this year I called him up. UPS dropped them off today.

I gotta agree. I like that style of wingtip. An ivory color vamp with peanut brittle tops and tip was the height of cool when I was in high school

I had one pair of TL Flamewalkers.

I had a pair of those too. Wore the business out of 'em. Must've been resoled at least 5 times. Still got them, although they're long since outgrown. Just sentimental, Iguess. Maybe one of my sons will appreciate them one day.
